Implant-Supported Prostheses
Implant-supported prostheses are dental restorations that are fixed onto implants placed in the jawbone or retained with special attachments. They offer the closest feeling to natural teeth in terms of both aesthetics and function for patients with tooth loss.
There are two main types:
- Fixed implant-supported prostheses: Secured to implants using screws or cement; cannot be removed by the patient.
- Removable (snap-on) implant-supported prostheses: Attached to implants with special connectors; can be removed by the patient.
Advantages:
- Chewing and speaking comfort closest to natural teeth
- Helps prevent bone loss
- Long-lasting use
- Aesthetic and secure smile
Implant-supported prostheses make it possible for even fully edentulous patients to regain a stable, fixed smile without remaining toothless. At our clinic, these systems are implemented through digital planning and personalized designs to provide both comfort and aesthetic excellence.
